Who Are We
Gilgal Church of God is a Christ-centered church located in Calgary, Canada, dedicated to prayer, worship, and the teaching of God’s Word. As a welcoming Calgary church family, we provide a space where people can encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and experience spiritual renewal. Whether you are new to faith or searching for a church home, you are invited to worship and grow with us.
Our Vision
Our vision at Gilgal Church of God, a Calgary church, is to be a community rooted in prayer and guided by the Word of God, where lives are transformed through the saving and renewing power of Jesus Christ. We desire to see individuals and families grow into mature disciples who live out their faith with obedience, love, and purpose. As a Christ-centered church, we seek to be a place of spiritual renewal and new beginnings, where believers are strengthened, hope is restored, and God is glorified in every area of life.
Our Faith
We believe in one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. At our Calgary church, we affirm our faith in Jesus Christ, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose on the third day, and will return in glory. We believe the Holy Spirit convicts, guides, comforts, and empowers believers to live faithfully, fostering spiritual renewal. As a Christ-centered church, we hold the Bible as God’s inspired and authoritative Word. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus alone. The Church, as Christ’s body, is called to worship, share the Gospel, and show God’s love through prayer, fellowship, discipleship, and service.

We are committed to teaching the Bible faithfully and creating an environment where people of all ages can encounter God and be transformed by His grace.
The Bible reminds us in Psalm 127:1:
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”
